Hong Kong has a large Roman Catholic population.
There are two R. Catholic Churches in mainland China: The Patriotic Church and the underground Church. I suspect that the Patriotic Church cannot preach against artificial birth control.

What do you all think about this?
IMHO, Putin has done a lot to restore the Russian Orthodox Church. He could have done much less. Of course, President Putin is not a saint, but under his leadership, the Russian Orthodox Church has grown stronger.

What are your thoughts on children and teens dating? What is okay and what is not okay?
Depends on the country. In some countries children get married at an early age.

Orthodox in China? Hmmm.

There were a certain number of Russians who emigrated to China, so this is to be expected. However, did  the article say that there are at present no Chinese Orthodox priests in mainland China? I am not sure about Hong Kong.

Children . . . definitely not! I think young adults would do well to just enjoy concentrating on forming good friendships (especially with other Christians), socializing in group situations and focusing on their studies, even when one is older (18 or there abouts) and away at college.  Society puts pressure on young people to date (and worse, to engage in sin by "exploring" their sexuality) when they are still not emotionally ready to handle it.  Were I to have become a parent years ago, I would have encouraged my kids to just enjoy their high school/college years and begin dating when they were older and they felt they were ready to find a husband or wife. (I say all this looking back on mistakes I made when I was this age.)

Whenever the church has been too closely knit with government there has always been corruption.  I'm skeptical to say the least.
